Cleaning UFiP B20 Bronze Cymbals
UFiP officially does not reccommend cleaning their un-lacquered roto-cast B20 bronze cymbals.
There is always a chance that the sound of the instruments could be modified if cleaned. One way that could be considered, there are no chemicals used and the method would minimize the risk of altering the sound.
Cleaning bronze alloy with 20% tin and 80% copper content:
One cup of white vinegar
One teaspoon of salt
Enough flour to make it into a paste
Clean the cymbal with the paste
Then rinse with warm water
Polish with a clean dry cloth.
